- We do not accept unsolicited complete manuscripts.
How to approach us
Please begin by sending a one-page summary of your book, together with your email address and telephone number.
Your summary should tell us clearly what the book is about, what makes its argument or approach distinctive, and who you believe will want to read it.
What happens next
We aim to respond within two weeks and will often reply sooner.
Our initial response will not normally be an unconditional acceptance or rejection. If the project appears potentially suitable, we will use your summary as the basis for an initial discussion. That discussion will lead either to an outline agreement on how to proceed or to a clear decision that the project is not right for us.
We believe in being direct. We will not waste your time, or our own.
